Saskatoon Fire Department’s Emergency Rescue Operations include nine stations across Saskatoon. Saskatoon’s firefighters respond to a wide scope of emergencies and are responsible for the frontline response to the citizens of Saskatoon 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

The Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD) is a full-service, professional emergency organization dedicated to protecting life, property, and the environment across the City of Saskatoon. Operating from nine strategically located stations, SFD provides fire suppression, technical rescue, hazardous materials response, emergency medical support, fire prevention, and public education.

Through partnerships with civic departments, volunteer fire organizations, and community safety programs, the department delivers exceptional readiness and compassionate service. SFD also leads in public outreach, training, and community risk reduction — embodying the values of courage, integrity, and teamwork that define Canada’s first responders.
